This place is as CROOKED as they come. I was purchasing from out of state and they forged my signature on documents to speed the deal along. When I posted my original review exposing them for that and putting their names out there, they bullied me and held my permanent tags and wouldn’t ship them. Told me I had to drive all the way back to NJ to pick them up because of my review unless I took it down. There’s plenty more to this story, but it’d be a very long post. I wouldn’t work Sean McManus, the salesman, or Dave Ventura, the finance guy. I wouldn’t go here at all. Crooked!!!!

My mother has been a customer of this dealership for many many years, the days when it was Muller Toyota. She brought her car in after having a moonroof installed. After the install there is an awful rattle in the headliner that my entire family and friends can hear. The person that sold her the moonroof took her car for a ride and claims that they are unable to hear this rattle. After being told many times that there is nothing wrong with it they have not fixed it. During this visit she had routine maintenance performed and the mechanic installed an incorrect diameter piece of tubing and her car now leaks whatever liquid that flows through said tubing. After reaching out about this failure she has been ignored. I would recommend shopping elsewhere, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a car.

The sales rep that I spoke to was terrible. The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars instead of 1 is because I'm sure that there are other reps there that are decent people to work with. John M. called me regarding available cars for sale. After discussing prices, I told him I was quoted $8,000 less than what he was offering and asked if he could at least match the price or get close to it. This offended him for some odd reason and he proceeded to raise his voice and continuously speak over me. I could barely get a word in! How can you possibly make a sale if you don't even listen to the customer!? He tried to use "scare tactics" like "there's a shortage", "loan interest will increase", "the other dealerships will tack on fees," "you're not going to find a car like this," "the lot is empty," blah blah blah. Pushy tactics. I told him I did find the same exact car with the same packages for much cheaper. And he told me "then this is a waste of time, since clearly this isn't the car for you. You should just go buy that other car." Really? That's how you deal with customers? Well, I did go buy that other car at another dealership nearby, in cash. And I bought it for $8000 less. Unfortunately, this was a poor experience at the Clinton dealership. I will be shopping for a new Tundra next, and I will be going to the other dealership that John told me to buy from instead. I hope management can work on some sales training with this guy.

I just want to say "Thank you" to John Castellano and all the guys at Toyota World of Clinton for one of the best experience I've had. Hans and Dave in finance were kind and knowledgably, I left the dealership feeling completely at ease with my purchase. Thank you again!
