DO NOT TAKE THIS BUS. I have taken this bus many times before. It’s never been a good experience, specifically the east bound line from NJ to NYC, but in general it has been OK. Sure, I have had to stand for the entire ride, purchased a ticket but not been allowed on the bus since it was at capacity, never once had one arrive and depart on time, and on multiple occasions waited 45+ minutes for it never to show up at all. I put my bag down in line for the bus as is common for this station, then returned to the car to wait due to the cold weather and the fact that the bus is never on time. A bus pulled in saying it was going to Allentown, not my destination of New York, so I continued to wait. A Good Samaritan pulled up next to me and asked if that was my bag. I replied yes and he informed me that it had been put on the bus which was about to leave. I immediately ran over and asked the driver to please take my luggage off the bus as I was not going to Allentown. He told me the bus was going to New York. I asked why in that case did the sign say Allentown. He ignored me. I ran back to my car, grabbed my things, and ran back to the bus. The ticket station for Clinton is almost never open, so you have to pay the driver in exact change. I give the driver $35 and he tells me no it’s now $40 and won’t let me on. I told him “I took this bus two weeks ago” as I had, and it was only $35 then (which is also an obscene amount for this bus!). He refuses to let me on until I give him FIFTY dollars and then claims he does not have change. Since I have no other way of returning to the city and this is the last bus today, I am forced to pay this obscene rate and get on the bus. This is absolutely dispicable behavior. Particularly as I am a young female traveling alone I feel that I was completely taken advantage of. I also cannot believe that they would have simply taken my suitcase with them. Not only is that theft, but in the post 9/11 world we live in it is a major safety concern. I will not be riding this bus again and I hope you do not have to either.

Unfortunately, there isn't much. It's been several years, and there has been no movement on additional parking options specifically for the park and ride. Your best bet to avoid a ticket and find a place to park is to go to the town lot by the firehouse. There is an 8 hour limit there which ends at 4pm. Do not park at the McDonalds, Dunkin, the Bank, or even side streets - even on those side streets without signs Clinton Police will have you towed.
The park and ride is on center street. If your GPS isnt giving proper directions try entering the chase bank next door.
