Small office, quick service. Pretty standard post office.

I had a sender put the wrong address on a package and they found the box and I received it the next day! This post office is on it! They are always so friendly and helpful when I have a problem!

As someone who visits this USPS location almost weekly to ship a package due to my neighborhood location being rebuilt, I'm confused by all this praise for Gene. Not only is he extremely condescending to customers who ask questions, he always lets you know his displeasure when you have to send an international package. Unfortunately, he's often the only one working the counter when I go in so maybe that contributes to his bad attitude. Gene also clearly does not understand USPS policy in regards to re-using boxes that alcohol was previously shipped in. I've shipped re-used alcohol boxes at this location before both domestically and internationally while following USPS guidelines which require any reference to alcohol or the alcohol producer to be covered. I waited in line 40 minutes today with one of these boxes with the proper coverings just for Gene to make a scene and call me out while I was third from the front. A bit of back and forth ensued with him refusing to process my package. It also doesn't help that the line is often out the door and he receives no assistance from his co-workers who wander around aimlessly. At any other business another register would be opened to help alleviate the backups. The only redeeming quality of this location is the awesome to work with female who commutes from Wisconsin.

We went to the nearestPO on 34th st ( a few blocks from 50th and 34st) parking was easy as they are short term stents Only 2 people in line. A piece of cake
We got mail already as of June 1st
I think so.
A single letter goes though several different machines, and sometimes letters get sent to the wrong post office and have to be rerouted. Also if there is something off with the address, incorrect zip code, missing apartment number, wrong street it may be retuned to the sender, which can take some time. Also if there is not enough postage it will delay delivery, or have to be sent back. There's no good answer as to why a letter may not be delivered, but if there is something off on the TO: address it will be RTS. If there is no FROM: address on the letter it will go to the mail recovery center.
Hahaha!! Only on the days you're expecting something important!! LOL! Our delivery time changes daily.
If it's a 1800 that is a general number. If it's a 612-721-#### it's just for the retail office, where the clerks work, they are often too busy to answer the phone. You need to stop in and get the number for the Supervisors. The clerks would be happy to provide it to you.
I would go to your landlord and ask for a new one. It might cost you but they should have a master key.
Go down to your nearest post office and ask them why they stopped delivering your mail. . Also, call Social Security to make sure they are sending to thed correct address. Best of luck
