Horrible service The wait for brunch was 40 minutes so we ordered take out. That was also 40 minutes but when we came to check they said 'oops' our order never made it to the kitchen. All they said was sorry, no fix, other than waiting another 40.

Historic but upscale, too. Newly remodeled dining room with great food and the cocktail bar serves seasonal cocktails trending worldwide. Have a cocktail on the front veranda but be sure to see the gorgeous and spacious back yard area too. Both are fun areas to dine outside!

Had a lot of high hopes for this Inn but was highly disappointed in my family’s stay. The odor of mold/mildew/musk almost knocked me over just walking in the front door but since our check in was a little late decided that we should give the rooms a shot. They were absolutely disgusting. There was hair from previous guests left in the bathrooms. Dust along the top surfaces of shelves and walls. Customer service reacted to these concerns rather rudely and dismissively. After learning the history of the region, also realized the Inn was named after a slave owner. It’s 2022; how in the world are slave owning Generals still allowed public recognition and namesakes???

Elegant and stays true to the culture, spirit and history of Lewisburg. I felt that I was transported to the European country side with such luxury, and beautiful grounds. What made my stay so enjoyable was not necessarily one thing but like a great painting or dish, a combination of all the wonderful stuff that cumulated into an unforgettable time. The staff is really prompt, professional and friendly. The rooms stay true to the character of the inn and I thought were very clean and comfortable. We didn’t stay in a recently renovated room which had no negative impact on our stay. I suggest getting drinks at their bar, or having cocktails and breakfast at outside on the patio. Location is great and you can easily walk to all the attractions in town. Overall, highly recommended.

No, we do not have a casino. You may be thinking of The Greenbrier?
Twenty-four hours, I believe. But please call. They are very accommodating.
Yes we are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year, unless we have to close for a maintenance issue which we have done as a planned event a couple times in January.
