OK, well normally I would say no because he is his own entity & they are their own entity but shockingly enough I just so happened to go through something similar last year. I own my Mobile home but technically my daughter is purchasing the home but there has been significant issues with our furnace. So since the bill is in her name & as I said she's purchasing the house I told her to apply & when she asked if she should put me on the application I stuck to old school rules & said no. And of course since the house is in my name & I had moved back in temporarily about 6 months earlier to help out with my Grandkids it would be the one & only time that rule doesn't apply. Now with that being said depending on what your applying for it might be different but I don't think so. But I will say if you call early enough in the morning the staff is pretty helpful and still nice just don't call much after 11am is all I will say.
