My son really needed a big brother, so I applied for him over a year and a half ago. Still nothing, and I keep being told there’s no one available for him. Now he’s 14, in high school, trouble focusing, trouble adapting and struggling. I feel extremely let down and feel extreme sadness for my son who just needed some guidance on his journey.

Big Brothers Big Sisters does not pick up donated items. Items to be donated can be dropped of at Unique Thrift Stores.
Unfortunately, no. Children in our youth mentoring program must be between the ages of 8 and 13 at the time of enrollment.
Thanks for thinking of us, but we do not. There are other nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities that do, including Bridging.
