Review is for Road Hazard WARRANTY. Bought a set of tires this summer. We live 60 miles from Sam's Club, but buy tires there because there's a Sam's store in every major city for service when road tripping. We buy the road hazard for travel security. One of our tires developed a slow leak, so aired it up and drove to the nearest store. Nope, have to get an appointment 2 weeks out. Could leave the car there and maaayyybee could work it in. Meanwhile we'd be auto refugees walking the commercial/ industrial asphalt killing 6 to 8 hours. Did I mention that we bought the ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY. Apparently it's easier to sell these than it is to honor them. I live in a small town and the idea of getting an appt 2 weeks before having a flat tire is beyond me. I talked to a store manager who said Sam's wouldn't stand behind their ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY either. The manager told me to take it to Discount Tire because they fixed theirs for free. The story the tire guy at the desk told is that since the snow fall all bets are off. Every bay is booked for new tires. I get the herd mentality, but thats not my problem. What about loyal customers who bought ROAD HAZARD WARANTY and just need a tire patched?? How about management figuring out a way to keep and staff 1 bay to honor their word to customers relying on ROAD HAZARD WARANTY service. Is that too much to ask. I'm paying to get it fixed tomorrow at a local tire shop. Sam's owes me but will never pay because it's too lucrative to sell things and not deliver.

Target doesn't always staff their jewelry counter either, should they shut Target down also? Sam's is not a place to be if you are in a hurry!

Yes. They used to give out a one day one time pass for people who are interested in becoming members. Stop in to their customer service desk to ask about it, or give them a call.
