If you are traveling to Phoenix by way of Heber - Overgard don't waste your time or money at this DQ Grill & Chill. I ordered 3 small blizzards and a Lg french frie that they fixed sat on the counter and never called our order number so the ice cream was almost melted and the fry's were cold. If I hadn't of already left the DQ I would have taken it back in and requested a refund for the $19.+ In change I paid. I noticed while getting gas at the Chevron

13 minutes at the drive thru window. For 2 blizzards. 13 minutes. I asked the kid handing the treats out - how long have I been here. And he said “over 13 minutes”. And while the top half of the blizzard was good - the bottom half was solid vanilla.

DQ overall needs new upper management. When I was younger the burgers were better than McDonald's and Burger King and when they invented the blizzard, they should have been the place setter for the other chains to follow. Instead other places sprung up that could do everything better. They seem to have settled for being just OK. I still go occasionally hoping things are going to be improving. I recommend sticking to the basics though. The peanut buster parfait or a simple hot fudge sundae. The frozen cakes are consistently good.

Don't buy the fish combo here. It is tasteless. We are on the road to Phx and had already left before tasting the fish sandwich. We didn't realize that you have to ask for the cheese...:( We ended up tossing out the sandwich and the fries because they both tasted bad.
