9 Months ago my car door stopped opening (would not open when unlocked) and the problem is continuing to happen. Went to schedule an appointment online and their online scheduler shows no availability for the next year. After calling, I was told I could only book 10:00 AM appointments for the next two months and that no loaner cars are provided. No options for availability of a service that they didn't even fully fix in the first place.

My Sonata engine knocked while driving. I took it to a shop and was told you have an engine problem and your car has a recall. I called and made the appointment. My car is still there for over 6 weeks and no follow up. One time and got a call and they told me they transferred to another department who works on engine and will let me know when done. Nothing up to now.

Purchased a 2022 Hyundai Sonata almost I year ago now. The salesperson was great, Luke in finance was pushy trying to persuade me to buy extended warranty coverage & I probably should have stepped away then. Now this new vehicle is making a vibrating sort of noise. I realize that plastic expands and contracts, and that is a sort of crinkly noise that stops as the car warms. This is something else. The tech driving with me chose to ignore the issue telling me it's normal winter noise. This new car is also making an intermittent grunting sound when the key is turned to accesorie mode. So I'm having to bring the car to service once more, I'm wondering if all females are treated this way. Stay away!

Questions & Answers

How much do keys cost?

The cost varies by model and year since the technology in different keys are different. Depending on the technology you can expect somewhere in the range of $100 - $350. A replacement key involves obtaining a key blank with the correct technology, cutting it to your vehicle, and programming the electronics to match your vehicle. Give us a call and we'll be happy to give an exact answer.
