Absolutely horrible customer service ! Tried to book a site for four nights in November and was told that they “don’t allow” our 2019 palomino camper because it has - pop out bunk ! We have camped in our camper with our kids in January and February at many other campgrounds . Can’t believe they made up this rule to avoid letting us make a reservation . My family and anyone we share this experience with will not support this campground !

Been here 4 yrs . Become friends with so many folks. Manager are super helpful and become almost family like .. if you are just stopping by check out the month to month folks past the office .. it's like living in a resort.

Was here for 5 months as a travel nurse. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. There's a nice lake that you can go fishing in as a catch and release. There's domesticated geese and ducks that people feed. Not a lot of insects unless you happen to be by one of the sites that abuts the woods. I do wish that they had more amenities other than propane service. There are no activities for children, pool, or laundry service offered on site. There is a laundromat down the road, not even 5 minutes away though. I had also asked a couple times while I was here to get more gravel placed underneath my RV site because all of the gravel was pretty much gone. Every time it rained it turned into a mud hole and I slipped more than once in the mud. It also makes it really hard for your jacks because then they want to sink down into the mud even with blocks under them.

Great facilities including propane fill, large lots for long rigs, beautifully kept grounds and nice courteous staff and owner.

Want a lakeside spot with camper which sit is good?

Gidget Meade | Oct 23, 2019
Robert Johnson | Oct 23, 2019

There are no bad spots, really. I am in the back of the park in a secluded corner and I love it!! I've been. There for 4 months. It's a wonderful park that's very quiet and peaceful. That being said, I personally think that the spots that are near the divide between the two lakes are the prettiest, and give you easy access to the walking path. But again, you cant go wrong anywhere you park. The owners are very easy going. Give them a call and discuss your wants. They'll steer you in the right direction. Good luck and hope to see you in the park!

They have a section for permanent residents. There is a waiting list for these. They may have seasonal rates in the transient areas. You would need to call and ask. It is a beautiful, very friendly park. I have stayed there 9 or 10 times.
