We ate here on July 2, 2022 and we’ll definitely be going back! I had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was the best I’ve had in the Phoenix area! The chicken (very tender) without the sauce was actually very flavorful and with the sauce only got better and the portion was perfect. My wife had the Grilled Shrimp Salad and the shrimp was seasoned to perfection and the salad items were super fresh. All I can say is she didn’t leave enough for leftovers! We feel the prices fell right in with quantity and quality of the dishes. Our server was well trained and very observant to our needs. Her attitude was very enjoyable and we could see she wanted to be there and enjoyed what she was doing! We’re truly happy our friends chose Bella Luna for our dinner spot this night and we’ll be visiting them again!

First let me say the food was unremarkable. Upon entering we were greeted by the matriarch owner, Miss B. The ambience is nice, with high, industrial ceilings and updated interior. Our server, Dee, was pleasant and efficient despite having been there only 5 days. Good price and nice pour on the wine. Bread and dipping sauce were good! I had Veal Saltimbocca, which was a decent portion but not much flavor, rather bland. The pasta had an ordinary marinara sauce. Hubby was very disappointed with the Frutti de Mare. The sauce was very bland and there were only 3 or 4 small shrimp and just 1 bay scallop! But a decent portion of mussels and clams. Dee was able to procure a few more scallops from the chef. We we were very disappointed overall.

We were seated immediately. Our waiter was Johnny on the spot. They have a wonderful happy hour menu. We were able to choose our appetizers and wine from the it and shared some of the best lasagna. The noodles were perfect and melted in your mouth. It was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend you give it a try.

Nice little place, I enjoy the mom and pop feel. The wait staff was very pleasant and friendly. I did not feel rushed at all. The food was good. The fried zucchini was very good and the table bread was nice. The Veal saltimbocca was good but my first bite was all fat and should have been trimmed prior to cooking. The Kalua Mousse cake was very tasty, not overly sweet. The espresso was good but needed some cane sugar which was not available.
