Very nice and friendly. Took time to show us the mower we were interested in and answered all our questions

Staff is responsive, friendly and efficient. I would trust any work that their head mechanic, Warren, does. He has worked on my tractor and other equipment at three different shops over 25 years. I consider him the best there is.

I recently had problems with another manufacturer's hay baler and very poor service response from their dealer. I contacted Lee at Progressive Tractor who was very responsive in making me a fair trade on a much better New Holland baler. Lee went above and beyond to get the new baler delivered, set up, and in operation after hours so that I wasn't left hanging to get my hay finished. He's also checked back since then to make sure the new baler is meeting my expectations. Thank you New Holland, Progressive Tractor, and especially Lee!

Questions & Answers

I am looking for a service answer on my husquevarna lawn tractor. It is two years old with 41 hours on it. When the mower blades are not engaged there is a noise from the transmission that sounds like metal grinding. Is this normal?

Hi Donald, Without the benefit of seeing the machine or knowing the model I really can't say but I can say that Hydrostatic Transmissions in residential mowers are noisy. A common transmission is the Tuff Torq K46 that goes in a lot of riding mowers and I can say they are noisy. At 2 years, you're probably still under warranty. If you're uncertain or think the noise has changed, you may want to take it by the Husquevarna Dealer and let them have a look.

How does an approximate repair bill (from their maintence dept, i called first and was %100 honest) of about $234 turns into a repair bill $634 without an explanation first with a phone call?

Hi Rodney, You're not obligated to any repair if you don't want it done. We've checked out your machine and have a repair estimate and details prepared. If you can stop by or call, we'd be glad to review it with you. Thanks for your business!
