Came with my girlfriend to a 4:45 class. I’m surprised she lets her kid come here. “Sifu” Aaron seems like an over confident incompetent teacher. He thinks talking down to kids is funny. Someone really needs to check him, real cool talking junk to a bunch of kids buddy.I’ve noticed a certain family leading this group. Always in the office talking, kids of theirs ALWAYS ranking up faster. (So I’ve heard) now kids teaching classes. ????? I agree with a comment below- favoritism. Actions like this will cause failure. People watch out.

The Academy goes above and beyond any place I have had the opportunity to train at. Sifu Jason is a class act, He is one of the most knowledgeable men I have met. Sifu Jason and Sifu Aaron go above and beyond. They take the time to make sure you are understanding what they are teaching you and they give you the how and why about everything. I feel blessed to be a student at the Academy. From the time you walk into the door until after you leave you are not treated like a customer but like a member of the family. At the Academy the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone wanting real world self defense to check the academy out…..

I signed up for their free introductory class (boxing) on a whim. I had never done any kind of sport or fighting before, and I was TERRIFIED. But as soon as I walked in, literally every single person I interacted with was very relaxed, very nice, and VERY welcoming. Smiles all around. The very moment that class started, I was being engaged with and brought up to speed - and literally all my fears disappeared. And boy do these guys know their stuff, AND they know how to bring it out of *you* too. Like I said before, I had never done anything like this, but I felt almost instantly comfortable doing something so unfamiliar around other people. And it's FUN too! If you are looking for somewhere judgement free to learn about boxing (or the other disciplines they specialize in) I can't recommend this place enough. Even after just one session, I am so excited to go back. If you're on the fence, take the free class and push through the intimidation. Because on the other side of that fear is an awesome experience.

If you go to their website you can sign up to have your first class free, and it really was as simple as go in, meet the owner and attend the class. They didn't tell me to sign up or do anything they honestly let us experience the class just like everyone else and you really see the value that way. There are different classes and you can attend in varying frequency- so pricing honestly depends on what class and how often.
For children, there is a color belt system. For adults you test only for black belt. Coming from Tae Kwon Do, it was refreshing not to have to test every two to three months and pay additional fees for belts and boards etc.
Its based on tue number of days you wish to attend per week. ( ie. 3 days per week). They do run specials sometimes and they do offer discounts on multiple students ( ie. 2nd student is half off)
