Dr. Joseph was extremely thorough and helpful at my consultation with him. I had an injection of cortisone in my knee that lasted for 6 months. When I tried to get another appointment with him, no one could/would tell me where he could be found. If he is practicing somewhere nearby and is OK, I think those who trust him ought to be able to locate him.

My mom had him at WestMed and liked him too...but where is he and what is going on? I wanted to consult with him about knee surgery. It's like he totally disappeared. If anyone knows anything³about where he is please let me know

How can I get in touch with Dr Joseph now that he is not at WEST MED?

Where did Dr.James Joseph go? my heart actually sunk finding out today he is no longer at West Med. He is by far the best doctor EVER.

Hi Tammy, sorry to hear that your mom is going through that. If she fractured her T-spine - compression fracture, I'm guessing - a couple of months ago then that's probably not healed yet and that is why she is in so much pain. Those can take upwards of 3 months to heal and pain management is important to allow the person to get up and moving sooner so that they don't lose too much muscle strength and mobility. A good place to start would be to see a physiatrist. I greatly recommend Dr. Stephen Andrus who is part of our group - he's a great doctor, and a nice person. He's also co-director of the Westmed Spine Center. Regards, Jim
Hi there! If Medicare is the primary, then the answer is definitely yes. With the private insurers it becomes harder to keep track because there are probably hundreds of plans/sub-plans/tiers each with their own networks. If there is any question, the best thing to do is call the office and ask - they can look up your plan and let you know. Regards, Jim
Hi Michael, yes I definitely accept Medicare. Regards, Jim
Hi Lena, I do participate in the UHC Oxford Freedom plan and can remove a ganglion cyst for you. That's generally a relatively straightforward outpatient procedure. I'll assume it's on your wrist, which is the most common place for them. Here's some good info about that: https://orthoinfo.aaos.org/en/diseases--conditions/ganglion-cyst-of-the-wrist-and-hand/ Thanks for the question! Regards, Jim
