Our big group was seated quickly. The server was fun and made us all feel welcome. Drinks came quickly, the food was not as quick but was very good and served hot! I ate too fast to take pictures of the food, the the hand made tortillas are amazing! Parking is limited at the location, but you can park a Ross the street in the gravel lot.

Excellent authentic Mexican food with great service and atmosphere. This is the second time we’ve been to Arizona and have been to Rio Mirage both times. My in-laws live here now and go monthly with the same experience. We highly recommend it and treat yourself to a pitcher of margaritas!

While staying overnight at Surprise I was looking for Mexican food for dinner. I looked at several places in the area and read their reviews, Rio Mirage had great reviews compared to others, so off we go to see if this is as good as the reviews. Arrived at 5:30, very busy, young lady immediately seated us. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable of the food. I ordered the beef chimmichonga, the waitress ask ground, shredded or steak, I ask her recommendation she said steak, she ask what sauce on top, I ask her recommendation she said sour cream was her favorite. My meal and my wife's meal was amazing. Now here is why this business is above the rest in the area... not only did we have a great waitress but the manager checked to see if everything was OK with our experience , a few minutes later the owner made her way to our table to check in on us. Five stars is not enough for what we experienced.

I had a lot of fun here today. It was a packed house and that was no surprise. The food took a while to come out but our server let us know that the kitchen got a bit backed up so it was fine. The drinks were good and when the food arrived it was excellent. I got the burrito and I don't regret it. My wife had the tacos and they were good too. The mariachi were there so that super sized the experience. Nice Friday night and I highly recommend.
