Dr. McMurtry took his time to explain all of the options that might help my severely arthritic thumb joint. He suggested I try some non-surgical steps such as bracing, acupuncture, therapy, massage, and / or creams so that when I eventually have surgery done I will not second-guess the decision. I have total confidence in him; especially since my husband recently had a very successful total wrist fusion which has allowed him to swing a golf club without pain for the first time in many years.
