Libraries are the best places on Earth. You can always learn something at the library. From books, audio books, music, and live author events. I had the opportunity to listen to author, Tyler Merritt in the auditorium and throughly enjoyed myself. Most events and programming are free, you just need a library card to sign up.

Yes--and much more than that. You can check out baking pans and original art work from the Akron Art Museum. There are two recording studios which anyone can reserve, free of charge, for two hours at a time. Their tech zone boggles the mind with the sort of resources available for public use, from 3d printers to vinyl printers and sewing machines, and much more. There are good reasons why Akron's public library system leads the nation according to the American Library Association.
