Really beautiful; just about a 15 minute run. I saw a heron, but I know other people have seen deer. Next to the river but not buggy. If you have a pollen allergy though, this is probably not something you'd want to go on.

Small park next to the original Archibald Mill. Once more advanced than the Minneapolis mills when they first started. A fence has been erected around what’s left of the mill. Probably a good thing for safety. This is what’s left of the 1870 water powered mill. You can still get close and glimpse a bygone era. Walk onto the nearby bridge for a great view of the mill on the Cannon River. There’s a free parking lot at the site and across the road some great food bars.
