Maintenance is wonderful. They are quick to fix problems. The main issue is that living here is like living in dorm rooms or your parents house. You cant speak in your living room because it is next to your neighbors bedroom. They are always knocking on my walls even if I am not talking loud. It is impossible to feel comfortable when you have to whisper in your apartment and watch the TV on the lowest setting to not disturb the neighbors. Dont even think about having company over. The roads are terrible and it has been like that for years. The only good thing is that the apartment is pretty to look at just not to live unless you are a senior and don't plan to have company, fun, or simply enjoy life at home.

Nelson works hard to get things done ASAP He is a great maintenance man here and, in addition doing good getting Tim acclimated with the facilities. Found out about a/c problem Nelson was there in afternoon to fix also explained to son what to do so doesn't reoccurs.

The maintenance crew is awesome. Nelson and Tim took care of us promptly when we had a leaking sink faucet. They’re great. I’m leaving 4 stars because of those guys. However… i do have some grievances with this place. Other than this stuff below, it’s an okay place to live- relative to the rest of this area. The landlord will automatically renew the lease if you do not inform them until 60 days to the deadline and there is no practical flexibility if you have an issue. Our lease renewal deadline came up during the same week as the appraisal on our pending home - the last hurdle to close on our first home. I asked for a week extension on the deadline in case the deal didn’t work out - that’s all I asked. Management refused stating they have a monthly option at a higher rate than usual rent. This obviously is not a practical financial solution while closing on a home. Paying for a mortgage and paying rent for an apartment that you aren’t using wouldn’t make sense and isn’t affordable. I just didn’t want to be stranded and homeless if the deal fell through on the house. They acted like this was an insane proposal. Also God forbid you park in the wrong spot after a hard day of work - one time. They have a policy that other tenants can call and have you towed. Instead of parking in our spot next to the car they park next to every day (like a rational person would do), one woman decided that my girlfriend needed to be punished for parking in her spot ONCE accidentally. $300 to get the car back. If it did not work out with the house, I would’ve been inclined to leave a one star review. But buyer beware: management is a soulless corporation and some of the neighbors are horrendous. Most are polite though, especially the older ladies. There’s also a loud music problem but not within the complex. Dudes will hangout at Keck Park across the street with stereo systems which are probably worth more money than their car and blast a bunch of heavy bass songs that sound the same. Sometimes I can’t even hear the TV over it if the windows are open. It’s actually impressive. Just keep the windows closed. Avoid traveling down Carlisle Rd. if you can. We had a glass beer bottle thrown at my girlfriends car before while the windows were down after an Iron Pigs game. Travel down River Dr through the Bethlehem side to get to the highways and businesses.
