Use to work in the kitchen, left cause of how low the standards are. Tuesdays orders pushed in corners for Thursdays orders to come in, nothing ever put away, obstacle course to get to a pan. Watch your feet! Roaches crawl right past your feet in the kitchen, picked a styrofoam plate up one day to put purée meal on it for a resident. Baby roach was in between the plates, crawling under the prep tables, all over the dish machine. But they have it “under control” with the Orkrin crew they have come in. Nothings made in house, it’s all stouffers products and pre made lasagna trays that are taken out of tin foil and put in a pan to heat it up in the oven, which it’ll sit in there for 2-3 hours on low till it’s served. Things left out for days till they’re thrown out. Watched a cup of coffee mold up that was sitting in the same spot for almost a month. If your short staffed, if your title is a cook, it doesn’t matter you’ll be forced to serve a floor, cause the other cook who speaks little English, refuses to help with anything other than kitchen work, half his day is spent in his car smoking cigarettes. And when someone starts choking, you’ll have to deal with that as the title “cook” refers to a nurse to them as well. Just run to another floor quick and grab a actual nurse so you don’t have to feel the guilt of someone choking in front of you and not knowing what to do. I don’t get how this place is still functioning. It surprises me how the chef still has his job after so many years of running it in the conditions he does. But when he hears states coming he’s quick to get everything up and correct, so why not have it that way all the time? Oh yeah, laziness and carelessness

Senior living at it's Best ! When you get at the point where you can't take care of yourself anymore, it's time to throw in the towel and get help. Saucon Valley Manor will fit your needs if you can pay the monthly fees. The meals are great and everyone working there Cares about you.
