Small but very nice place. Volunteers are very informative and enthusiastic. Was able to watch staff working on a rescued turtle that had been hit by a car. Was fascinating to watch the procedure.

We arrived a little later in the day but it turns out that was right. Around feeding time. We got to feed the rays and watch the seahorses get fed. Then we watch two turtles get tagged for release. There was so much to do and so much to learn and we were really glad that we made the trip there.

I have been visiting the Marine Science Center for years, since I was little. And I will continue to visit for as long as I live. I just love hearing about all the animals that are currently in care, and their individual stories and treatment plans. All the staff are so sweet and want to tell you as much as possible about all the animals in the facility. I always look forward to playing with Pancake the stingray. I can't say enough about it here, it's always so nice and well kept. Just beautiful.

Love this place and everything they do. Great place to visit and see all the turtles they are healing and awesome lobby with ranks of fish, turtles, seahorses, and more. Live action chances to feed the stingrays and leaning room where we leaned about owls with Bubba. They also have a Bird Sanctuary on site. Great place!!

Adults $5, seniors $4, 3 to 12yrs $2, 2&under free
I didn't see any damage, and all the birds were out in their respective cages. The other animals were inside it their tanks & aquariums....
Now open 👏
It depends what is the reason .I would reccomend in case you think the turtel needs help call the specialists of the center. They 'll guide you lg
This isn't asking the science center, this is a forum to ask other visitors about the center.
Adults are $5. Seniors get in for $4. Go at sting ray feeding time and get in line to feed a stingray! (Don't worry, the stingers are removed and one of the staff help you by holding your hand open and the food is held just right.). Can't beat what you learn for the price.
Yes, they have a ramp and the building is one level.
I'm sorry to hear that
You will definitely have to call them as I'm sure they do not monitor these questions.
Did you try calling the science center? They may have advice. Or perhaps fish and wildlife. Good on you for trying to help!
No they are closed on Thanksgiving
According to their website, it looks like they are open today. MSC is closed New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
I don't know the answer to that.
