Matthew Smith Appraiser IV, Henry County Assessor's Office, literally came to my rescue. Matt made me feel as if my situation was now his priority. I knew that if anything could be done, Matthew would find a way to help. Matt was courteous, respectful, and so very caring. If I could have given Matthew 10 stars I would have done so! I want to thank the Henry County Assessor's Office for placing Matthew to help customers like myself and our community. A Heartfelt Thank You Once Again Matt!

Five-star Kelly and her team were extremely helpful during our visit. Three different employees helped us with a big records request. They were quick, kind and very helpful. I go to tax assessor offices all over the state and this one is always on top of things. Thank you!

After a number of poor experiences at the Stockbridge Tag Office with Sherry (Supervisor) and other staff giving me incorrect information and causing me to make a number of unsuccessful visits, I went to the main office and had the opportunity to meet with Mathew Smith in the Assessors Office , who not only helped me but was a breath of fresh air. Kudos to him, a true public servant. I also spoke with the Commissioner, Michael Harris and he was gracious and listened to my concerns, kudos to him as well.

Go inside the tax assessor's office at this location & ask them, you may be able to call as well & they will key you know. There also should've been a letter that went out that told you what was owed & what was paid.

I believe you will need a police report and a tag receipt. That should be all.
