This place is a waste of government money. Care is shotty, no one ever answers the phone, doctors call in often, medication is never mailed out, etc. Nothing about this place says "care". I highly DO NOT recommend.

Went in there at 730. The nurse saw me at 745 they took my vitals and she then put me in the lobby and had me wait 2.5 hours to get a prescription! I got the prescription I took it to the only CVS that accepts their prescriptions and they didn’t include the second page with billing information! I never saw Dr Surepaneni and honestly I feel like they thought my pain was false. It’s 11:25 and I still haven’t gotten my prescription! I think they are trying to wait me out so that they didn’t have to provide care

2010 My official exit date from US Army. 2011 Neck siezed up to the point I lost most movement. Contacted the VA in regards to the conditions and explained that I had service connected disabilities that I needed work on and an appointment was scheduled. This same year, I went to the scheduled appointment and was seen 4 hours later than my sceduled time. Just for them to prescribe Ibuprofen. No information was given in regards to the service connected disabilities. 2012 Still nothing. Closed my claim 2013 Still nothing Closed my claim 2014 Contacted Congress and was able to receive some care and slight comphensation Closed my claim 2015 Still nothing Closed my claim 2016 XRAY of neck showed arthritis but they explain it is not service connected. Mailed certain C&P exams to correct address and sent the Neck and Back C&P exam to address that I have not lived in 15 years, but all the other C&P exams showed up to the correct address 2017 Still nothing Closed my claim 2018 Still nothing Closed my claim 2019 Still nothing Closed my claim 2020 Still nothing Closed my claim 2021 Contacted Congress, they could not help in regards to the back. Still nothing Closed my claim 2022 Back increased 10%. Keep in mind, this injury prevented me from a career in the military and made me change my job description entirely and now still haunts me. VA denies my neck even though that I have arthritis in it which becomes very painful. I am 39 y/o and now currently unemployed. How can the VA close my claims without even being seen by a doctor? I cannot perform certain jobs due to these injuries and it is very degrading that I will be losing everything that I worked so hard for. How can an incompetent employee make mistakes that prevents me from getting the disability I deserve?

More efficient than my private care doctor. Went for blood draw and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Very friendly staff too!

Questions & Answers

Are there emergency services at this clinic?

Kimberly Frazier | Oct 22, 2018
Kam Brookins | Oct 22, 2018

The clinic is set up like private care. Non emergent issues. And acute emergency things. If something greater than acute like shortness of breath, heartache, lots of limb. Need to go to an emergency room.

can you complete eligibility forms at this location?

willie williams | Oct 22, 2018
Reg Anderson | Oct 22, 2018

I believe so. They have a front desk area with 4 or 5 clerks. You should ask them for whatever paperwork you need to complete to gain VA access. I advise you to bring your DD-214 (proof of service) and any other relevant information that might be required.

DOES THE VA COVER EYE CLINIC FOR DEPEPENDS?

joseph craig | Oct 22, 2018
Reg Anderson | Oct 22, 2018

VA has eye clinic for veterans. I believe you can receive 1 pair of glasses per year or every 2 years. Dependents of veterans are not eligible. VA has partnered with insurance companies to provide "lower" cost dental insurance for veterans and their dependents. I don't know if they have a similar program for eye care.
