I became opiate dependent 23 years ago after a accident and ended up in pain management. One of the worst things that could happen to someone in chronic pain, anyway after much deliberation over where to go to find some help I found Alliance Recovery Center. With much apprehension I walked in not knowing what to expect but was met with wonderful smiles from the front office staff that immediately made me feel much better. Than I met my counselor and was so comfortable talking to her that it made the whole process easy. Everyone I encountered was so nice and helpful and when I walked out I knew I had made the right decision on where I could finally get the help I needed. Thank you God for putting me on the path of recovery and a new life with the help of all the nice professionals at Alliance. 😀❤️

We admit new patients in Athens on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We ask that you arrive before 7 AM as we work on a first come, first serve basis. You must bring an ID with you and you must not use past 8 PM the night before. Please contact us via phone or through our website if you have any more questions.
Most times there is no wait. During busy times it is usually less than 10 minutes, assuming you do not need to provide a drug screen, attend group, or see your therapist.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays you need to be there by 9:30 am They open at 6. Am
Hello Michelle, We only treat opioid use disorder with MAT. Some of our therapists have private practices where they'll treat anyone, but this is not through Alliance and I can't speak about financial assistance. I believe they mostly work with private pay and insurance. Depending on what you need treatment for, you could try contacting Advantage behavioral health.
Yes, we are closed on both Christmas and New Years Day.
Yes! Please give us a call and we can work out your transfer.
If i remember correctly some valid form of ID was required. If you're really dope sick maybe you could go thru intake and get dosed but i wouldn't plan on it. Good luck. There are federal guidelines in place for narcotic distribution and no facility will risk their license for one person.
Groups are only available to current and former clients of ARC. This is to protect the confidentiality of our clients. If you are looking for open to the public groups to attend, you can try NA or Celebrate Recovery.
It costs the daily price of treatment, $12 for methadone or $16 for buprenorphine. There are no extra admission fees.
