Recently, we had a late lunch after a Chateau Elan wine tasting at Marc Bar. Our selections were the Marc Burger, with steak fry's, side baby wedge; and salmon, broccolini, and steak fry's. Also split was a sweet potato and chile soup. Not a soup we would normally order, but it was MOST EXCELLENT! Sorry we didn't order a bowl! We enjoyed an excellent meal, and the baby wedge and blue cheese were above the normal fare. Being simple, non-demanding folk, Lexton, our server, was a most accommodating server for our basic needs. There when you needed him, yet unobtrusive. If you are in the area, or on the property, a restaurant to consider.

My wife and I had a great Friday date night to kick off the weekend. Our waiter Collin was professional, courteous, and conversational. He had good recommendations, and was knowledgeable on all the questions we had about Chateau Elon. We enjoyed a glass of wine at sunset then headed over to Marc for our dinner.

Weekends tend to be busy in the winery but everyone did have masks on, plus they had seating outside.
The restaurant has undergone a complete makeover with a new chef and management, and is busy. On the weekends reservations are pretty much required. They rarely accommodate "walk ins", I hope this changes as we eat there a lot and there are generaly a LOT of open tables even when they say they are full. They definitely DO NOT maximize the seating potential. Its very frustrating for people who come here and observe this.... The good thing is they JUST opened a bar area, where you can order bar food and the complete menu. In the past if you walked in and there was no table, you were SOL. Now you can go to the bar, have a great drink, and order food.
