I like these guys and I’ve been going here for years. Friendly and courteous staff. Recently when I was taking my family racing, my son’s kart had a malfunction and he was only able to do a little over half of the laps. I thought for sure they would give us a credit for next time, but I was told their policy was not to give a credit since half the race was completed. I spent close to three hundred dollars on this visit and thousands over the years and I would expect a little more customer service. Update: I was called and I had a pleasant conversation with the new owner and not only did they clear up the misunderstanding, BUT she informed me of all the new and upcoming things they will be doing for us speed fans. They have a passion to bring racing and speed to this local area. I’m super pumped about their karting and car events in the future.

Under events on their website, there are many events and update. I highly recommend Friday night drift
It's not a number of laps, it's a 10-minute time period. Lap times are typically within 3 seconds up or down from 30 seconds, so figure roughly 19 or 20 laps depending on how fast you go. Personally I recommend doing the two session package for $50. You're going to want to ride at least twice, and at that point your arms are going to be pretty tired. The current layout flows really well and it's just a lot of fun.
I pulled this from their website. "Track Rental Available The track is available for rent for racing events and private test days. With the fully paved infield, and the track surface designed to provide a smooth transition driving between the banking and the infield, Lanier Raceplex has become Atlanta’s most popular venue for drift-car events." Tracks like this usually do rentals, but you should call and ask a manager or event coordinator. It was a pretty cool facility and I had no idea there was over 60 acres of space up there.
They will give you a racing license for $7 when you pay for your first race.

They typically post updates to their Facebook Page. They just mentioned they had slight rain so they shut it down. This is understandable due to the raw speed and racing slicks the karts have.
