I needed to send a package to London. I went to a mailing service first, and it was going to be $200. I asked them for the USPS price and they said $180. I asked them if I put it in a smaller package, would that help - they replied with "Fuel is fuel". I left there and went directly to the Florence, AL Post Office on Seminary Street. A lady named Karen was working....she was SO helpful! She helped me fill out the form that needed to be done and told me that the other place was charging first class rates (if I remember correctly). Anyway, within 15 minutes I was done, the package was sent for $42. Thanks for being so kind, Karen - I appreciate your help!
