Took my family out to dinner to celebrate my daughters birthday and to meet her boyfriend for the first time. The atmosphere is fantastic for a steakhouse in a college downtown, the food was flavorful but only partially cooked correctly. The service was less than acceptable though. We were a party of seven and six of us had steaks. Three of the six steaks were properly cook the other three were not even close. Our server, Justin was the most condescending, unprofessional person I've encountered trying to provide service. He had an opinion on everything and tried to pad the bill by adding drinks that were never served. The Monday night manager was no better. I'll finish with a positive as the peach cobbler was really good. Was it good enough for us to come back.... No.

The Porterhouse Grill is our “go to” for a nice dinner out in Athens. The steaks are always perfectly cooked and the sides are delicious. Megan was our waitress this last visit and she was excellent! Everything came out just as ordered and in a timely fashion. We also had the best hot dirty martinis made by Bradley. They are a must try!
