I am currently an employee. We receive the same benefits as most people who buy the Elevate Exchange Plans, and we are also all seen at Denver Health with the same providers our members experience. I will say that the quality of care is amazing! Denver Health has some of the best doctors. The new OMC building is wonderful. I believe the insurance coverage to be stellar, I've only had to pay my copay and small fees for diagnostics so far and if you ever need to know what your plan will cover all you have to do is read our benefits guide or call Health Plan Services. They make it very straight forward. I also love that I can pay my bills directly in MyChart since I am seen at Denver Health. So easy. I had to give it only 4 stars simply because getting a specialist appt right now is pretty difficult, the wait time for GI or OBGYN is often 4+ months but that's all over the healthcare industry and so it's just what it is. When I do get in I get top quality care. I LOVE my PCP at the Lowry Clinic. She really cares about me and my well being and always has time for a virtual appt when I can't get in right away. It's a really nice option. I also love working here. The people are amazing and the company has great culture.

I had an issue with lab billing. I called Health Plan Services who suggested filing a grievance. The Grievance and Appeals department took my issue and worked to solve it right away. I am grateful for the quick responses and resolution!

I'd be better off without insurance. This way I could go anywhere and just pay out of pocket, and not wait NINE MONTHS to see a specialist everyone knew I needed to see on day 1 (based on the specialist I saw last year with my old insurance). I'm trapped. Do yourself a favor and avoid Denver Health's Elevate Health Insurance at all costs.

If a client has this medical plan and is being treated for behavioral health issues through a community based organization (DH only offers inpatient), how is the client supposed to get their prescriptions covered since prescriber is outside dh plan?
