I won a coupon from a cosmetic surgery center to have my spider veins injected to make them disappear and I had tons of them in both legs. I used the coupon and they not only didn't disappear but after a few months there were more and I also got varicose veins. That was a long time ago. I figured I was stuck with the way they looked but they were becoming more and more painful. I went to Artemis to see if anything could be done. Dr. Pinsinski did a very thorough exam w/ultra sound and found the valves in my legs that pump the blood to my heart weren't working correctly. He set up treatment to fix those veins. Since the treatments, which took a few weeks, my varicose veins were gone and even some of the spider veins but the more important thing is the pain is no longer there. The people at Artemis treated me so well, it was like they really cared about helping me. I am grateful to Dr. Pinsinski and his staff for a great experience and recommend them highly to anyone who may need vein treatment of any kind. Thank you. WK

Shannon has been doing my facials for a few months now and she's excellent! I prefer more natural elements in my peels and she's so accommodating with my requests. Shannon listens and uses her expertise to find what works for ME. The results are there! It's why I look for this type of facility (more clinical). Parking is also super easy and Artemis is convenient to other shops and clinical care I get in the Denver area. They also keep me on schedule, which is important at my age and in this dry climate.

It depends on your individual spider veins, but typically 1-3 treatments are needed.
Spider vein treatment is a prominent and common procedure at Artemis. Spider veins are often only a cosmetic concern. At our FREE vein screening, we evaluate cosmetic patients for underlying medical vein issues before proceeding with treatment.
Typical symptoms of varicose veins can include leg pain, swelling, cramping, aching, numbness, restless legs, and even bleeding.
No (and yes). Self-pay and cosmetic patients require no referral. Patients desiring insurance based treatment may want to check with their individual insurance carrier/primary care physician to determine if a referral is required. Patients may also come in for a FREE vein screening or call our office and ask our knowledgeable staff to assist in determining how best to proceed.
