We had an amazing time experiencing the cave and learning about the Balcones Fault Line, Faye was a fabulous tour guide! She was patient with the kids and super knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the cave and also wearing sneakers 😜

We had the best time. I recommend getting the all in one pass. It's just a little extra, but it includes a tram ride to feed small animals and the anti gravity house. There are some very steep steps, low rocks and narrow paths inside the cave. The story of the cave is interesting, but no spoilers here. It was a great way to beat the heat and keep kids busy at the same time.

Pretty cool place to visit on a hot summer day. I would recommend the all in package cave tour, train ride and gravity house included. Make sure u ask who your tour guide and let's hope u get River he'll make the tour fun and educational.

This was a fun place to stop. Our kids really enjoyed the train ride and feeding the animals. Touring the cave was quite an adventure but it’s not for the faint of heart or weak of knees. There’s quite a climb down a narrow, uneven staircase and if you’re the least bit claustrophobic it is probably not something you would enjoy. But if those things don’t bother you the cave tour is an interesting bit of geography. The anti gravity house absolutely fascinated my kids. Our tour guides Faith and Jo were hilarious and clever and elevated this basic tourist trap to a place worth stopping!

No. My wife and I enjoyed the park more than kiddos. My wife loved the train ride. There is a great souvenir store. The entire park is awesome. We had lunch onsite. Go!!!!! Try fun house!!!
A lot, but not too many if that makes sense. Some parts are pretty steep too. You'll break a sweat. If it helps, I'm out of shape with a bad knee and I was able to do it at a pretty slow pace.
Thank you for the feedback! We painted it this week and it looks amazing. It’s bright Red now!
My understanding is limestone, aka Karst formation.
Alot I'm not about to count them all lol but unless you're sitting in a room you're going down stairs.
We open everyday starting in March. Currently we open Monday-Thursday for groups of 20 or more. Our current public operating hours are Friday 12-5 & Saturday and Sunday from 10-6.
I dont remember seeing a military discount, but they sure do give a special shout-out...
No-one is giving the actual steps in the cave.what's the reason...!?!?!? My friends children are also willing to come. But it's better to know the steps in the cave.

The entire cave system is inside the Earth and so is the gift shop. The tram thru the animal sanctuary is covered even the elevator up to the scenic tower is covered. The only areas uncovered is the parking lot and outside waiting area, unless you wait in the gift shop. Have fun
Most of the attractions are indoors or in the cavern. There is a train ride to a few exotic animals but the train has a cover and no sides if it is raining.
Don't know what that is but there's a Groupon that can save you $10
For full combo tours Ages 3-5: $9.50 Ages 6-12: $17.95 Ages 12-64: $24.95 Ages 65+: $16.95
Bad knee. I wouldn't recommend it. Steps are uneven.
For a full tour (all 4 attractions) It Is $24.95 For Adults, $17.95 for youth, $9.50 For children, and $16.95 for senior citizens. However, you can choose to only do a train ride only ($9.50) or just the cave ($19.95). They do offer various discounts including military.
