I had minor roof damage and tried to find a roofer to repair my roof. No one would return my calls, but then I called Roof Worx and Barry came out and gave me a estimate the next day and repaired the roof a week later. He was very professional and do a great job. I would recommend Roof Worx to a Friend in need.

After a recent hailstorm, Victor Stewart with RoofWorx came out and inspected our roof to help us determine the amount of damage. He returned to our residence when the insurance company came out to do their assessment of the damage. The insurance company used a drone to inspect and didn’t find all of the damage that Victor had found, so he insisted they go up and take a closer look. Without his help and his in-depth knowledge about insurance policies, he made sure that we got the repairs we needed and were entitled to. RoofWorx came and replaced the roof right away! They did a great job, were very respectful and did a fantastic job of cleaning up when they were done. Victor personally came out to make sure that we were happy with the new roof and made sure that all our questions were answered. We would highly recommend Victor from RoofWorx – he was impressively knowledgeable about their products and insurance policies, and was amazing at communicating through every step!

My first call, I was disappointed in the customer service but, apparently, there was a misunderstanding that I was a salesman or something. The situation pleasantly turned around when Barry came around and took on my roof-installation project and did it well. I was in a very difficult situation and trying to get my house sold and he did what was needed to work with me to get the work done for the sale. And he was a pleasure to talk with. I would recommend this company!

Roof Worxs was such an amazing company to work with. This was my first time getting my roof replaced and I couldn't ask for a better experience. Victor made sure to answer any questions I had, and always called or emailed me with any updated on the roof. For the roof we worked with my insurance and Victor was amazing at working with them and always keeping me in the loop. If you are considering going with Roof Worx I would highly recommend, the price estimate we go was spot on with the insurance, the installation was all done in one day, and looks absolutely amazing. When meeting with Roof Worxs after other roofing companies they were the only company to show me proof of insurance which is one this that made me very comfortable working with them. All and all I could not have asked for a better experience with the company or Victor himself, I would 10/10 recommend this company!

Questions & Answers

What does the insurance process look like for an insurance claim on my roof?

Roof Worx - Thornton Roofing Company | Mar 25, 2022

We will inspect the property for damage and help you file a claim if there is damage. We meet with your adjuster and go over the claim with you. We will supplement your insurance company if there are items they missed. Once a contract is signed, Roof Worx will repair/replace the roof as outlined in the statement of loss and the contract. A final estimate is created after the work is done that is provided to the insurance company so that they can release all the funds for the completed work.

What should I look for in a Roofer?

Start with their reputation by checking their Google rating and BBB rating. Companies that value customer service will have a high rating and a large number of them. Are they certified installers for the products you are looking at using. Premium certifications such as GAF Master Elite certifications are even better because the contractor is required to have additional training and customer service commitments. Check the companies office location. There are many good small companies but they typically work out of there home which may make it difficult for warranty repairs in the future. Established roofing companies will have an office with a full time staff. Check the roofing contractor has insurance (general liability, workers compensation and auto). Ask for a copy of their insurance certificate. You do not want to be left holding the bag if the contractor does not have the correct insurance. Finally, check that the company have a building license.

Do you have insurance?

Ted Thomas | Mar 25, 2022
Roof Worx - Thornton Roofing Company | Mar 25, 2022

Yes. Roof Worx carries the right insurance to protect the property owner and the company. As you know, not all insurances are the same and that is true in the construction world. The three most important are General Liability, Auto, and Workers Compensation. In addition, we carry pollution insurance which covers things like blocked exhaust vents. When checking the insurance, ask to see a copy of their insurance certificate. Check each policy for the amount of coverage and how the insurance company providing coverage is rated. You should be looking for an A+ rating.

Do you do roofing repairs?

Roof Worx - Thornton Roofing Company | Mar 25, 2022

This is a good question to ask roofing contractors. Many roofing companies work out of their house and will have limited repair capabilities. Roof Worx has our own in-house repair team and company wrapped vehicles. This team is back up by a manager with over 35 years in the roofing business. Roof Worx is skilled at residential, HOA/multifamily and commercial repairs.

What types/lengths of warranties do you offer and what is included?

Ted Thomas | Mar 25, 2022
Roof Worx - Thornton Roofing Company | Mar 25, 2022

When you are considering a roof replacement, there are two warranties you need to think about. For the products installed on your roof, the product manufacturer provides a warranty against material defects. Some manufacturers will only cover a defect claim if the roof is leaking. This type of warranty can leave a property owner with the bill to correct if there is a defect. Always check the manufacturer's warranty. The company installing the product should also provide a workmanship warranty to cover defects in the installation. The workmanship warranty should cover things like leaks and defects in the installation. Many companies provide options for warranty upgrades that extend the material and workmanship warranties. Roof Worx can provide material and workmanship warranties for 100% coverage for up to 30 years that are backed by a manufacturer. Many of these warranties are back by material manufactures that have been in business a very long time.

What does it take to be a GAF Master Elite Roofing Contractor?

Ted Thomas | Mar 25, 2022
Roof Worx - Thornton Roofing Company | Mar 25, 2022

GAF Master Elite contractor is not just a rubber stamp. To be a Master Elite, Roof Worx has to have a commitment to quality, customer service and training. Every employee is trained annually on the proper product installation. GAF inspects roof installations for quality and customer service. Only about 1% of the roofers in Colorado are GAF Master Elite contractors. Being a Master Elite, we are permitted to upgrade warranties that provide up to 30 years of workmanship and 50 years of material coverage.
