What's this about? Honest question: is this supposed to be a pop-up target that clearly you're expected to avoid firing at? Or is it it an example of saying the quiet part out loud? An unarmed Muslim (probably) mother (more than likely) with that expression on her face doesn't make sense except that she's having a gun pointed at her. You can see that right? EDIT: I am honestly curious what the intention in making and displaying the poster board was. If it's a target, why not have an image that's more recognizable as an enemy of freedom (OBL)? Why is there a bag of rice on display to set the scene? It's deliberately placed in the store to be seen by customers and window shoppers and I was curious about what your goal is. My friend is happy with his purchase and sends his regards. I decided after seeing the display not to spend money at your shop, but I didn't want to jam up my friend's purchasing process so that's why I didn't ask while we were browsing. Also I thought it was a better use of my time and yours to inquire about the firearms and accessories in your shop rather than risk an overreaction. It took 45 minutes of looking at and talking about pistols before the interaction felt comfortable, why go backwards? While we were waiting for the background check we were already having a discussion about other social issues so it didn't seem like bringing the poster board to your attention would be received too well. But seriously, honestly, to yourself, are you confused about how/why that display could be offensive? That's impressive if you can't realize how it could be but also unsettling. Let me be clear: Muslims, Arabs, women in hijab and bags of rice are not enemies of America. Just like conservatives, 2nd amendment advocates, and "low-informed" are not automatically my enemy - unless their behavior and actions show me they are.
