I am a non-combat veteran with service related disabilities who was matched with my battle buddy Cypress last week. Throughout the application process Freedom Service Dogs has been open and transparent. I started class last week with five diverse vets with similar life challenges, and while it is demanding, class has been fun. Brenna and Jenny picked up that I am a visual learner and adjusted the content for me, which I appreciate. When I'm having a rough patch there is plenty of support to help me process my emotions and move back into a learning zone. I can recommend Freedom Service Dogs if you are vet and need help managing your symptoms with 100% assurance. Please do not hesitate to seek relief by use of a fur buddy! I can't wait to see what my life leads to now.

Yes, if there is a need, they have a dog.
Call them and go visit. They are wonderful people.
Hi Suzanne. If they cannot help you directly, they should be able to connect you to resources that can. I would definitely give them a call.
No, they should walk along side.
If money is tight you can go on wish.com they have really great and durable vest and harnesses all brand new and they have the velcro lables on some or you can buy the lables for service or setvice dog in training or whatever your needs are with your furry baby they are a whole cheaper than anyone like about 10 dollars or less i have purchased several for my growing puppy they are really good i promise Wish.com
Thanks for your question. Here's a link to learn more about the service dogs we provide: https://freedomservicedogs.org/service-dogs-faq. Please call us at 303-922-6231 if you have additional questions.
Thank you for your question. We train dogs for people with physical disabilities, veterans with PTSD or traumatic brain injury, and children (5 years and older) and adults on the autism spectrum or with other neurocognitive disabilities. We do not provide psychiatric service dogs for civilians.
Call their main line and you will be able to make a donation over the phone
They be able to help. If its for companionship maybe reach out to dumb friends league and see if they have a dog that may suit your needs. Best of luck to you!!
This is one area that Freedom Service Dogs really understands. One of their main groups of clients are Veterans with the same or similar issues you may be dealing with. I am not sure of the steps you need to do to be helped by them, however, I have toured the facility and met some of the staff and I can tell you they are top notch all the way around! I would give them a call and see if you could go down and meet with someone...or they could start you in the right direction. By the way, thank you for your service, it IS appreciated!
The organization takes rescue dogs and trains them as service dogs and gives them away to people who need them.
