Ashley Drake was a beacon of hope for me. Facing the chance of loosing my daughter was not in Ashley's vocabulary. Not only was she able to defend me from an unjust accusation, her calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional succor to myself and those I care about most. My children and I are eternally grateful for her service and I hereby recommend Ashley Drake without reservation. She is the best!!! Ryan

I was very pleased with the great experience and quick resolution in my case using Goldman Law. Scott did a fantastic job of getting to the point with a party that I have dealt with for 18 years and has always been unreasonable. I fully recommend Scott and his team to anyone needing a Family Attorney.

You would be best advised to explore your options with having a prenuptial agreement drafted to protect your interest in the home you currently own (assuming that you have not placed your girlfriend's name on the title to the home). If you do not have a prenuptial agreement, then your home will likely remain your separate property (again, assuming you do not place her name on the title to the home or otherwise sell the home and buy a new home that contains both of your names on the title) however, your girlfriend could be entitled to receive a portion of the growth of equity in your home, over the length of your marriage, if you get divorced. With a prenuptial agreement, you can completely contract around that, such that she will not have any right to a portion of the growth of equity of your home over the length of your marriage.

Thank you for your response. It is very comforting to know you documented more in your response to defend yourself than you did in my case. It was Emily's first day on the job when she took over for another lawyer that quit. You must have a new Emily

I never asked about grandparent rights? Not sure why you responded to me.
