The reason the clergy is faced towards the tabernacle and facing the same direction as the crowd is that they're leading their congregation to Christ. Extremely reverent, the best choir I've heard in a church this size, and profound homilies.

Are confessions at this church done in a confessional box or a booth or face to face in a reconciliation room or with a screen between the priest and confessor?
