Some engineered hardwoods can be refinished, but products vary widely, so check before you buy. We offer many types of engineered hardwoods that can be refinished as well as hardwoods engineered to resist wear extremely well. Our knowledgeable associates can help you find exactly what you’re looking for and educate you on care, warranties, and what to expect with each product.

We do. Our installation includes site preparation, and that includes moving any furniture that’s in the room and replacing it properly afterward. So unless you have a bank vault-sized safe or something our team can’t remove without special equipment, you can rest assured knowing we’ll move it for you, and do so carefully and professionally.

Nothing! The price of installation and site preparation is included in every luxury vinyl tile flooring price we quote. That means the prices you see on our site, on the specials page and in our showroom are what you will actually pay per square foot. We like to make sure our customers get upfront pricing so they know exactly how much floor they can afford.

The core of a luxury vinyl flooring product is extremely water-resistant, so it can easily stand up to spills and withstand moisture in damp areas like bathrooms and basements. Also, the way luxury vinyl is installed prevents excess moisture from seeping into the cracks between the flooring tiles. While luxury vinyl flooring is considered more water tolerant than say, hardwoods or carpet, different products may have different levels of moisture resistance. Large floods and standing water can also still damage the floor, so be sure to wipe up spills and leaks as soon as possible.

You do not. Once you have selected flooring samples, Flack’s will send someone out to your home to measure it precisely and issue you a quote. If you’re on a budget, we do recommend taking a rough measure of your space, so we can give you an estimate of costs and help steer you toward the right products.

We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but our showroom is open every Monday-Friday from 9AM to 5PM.

Both carpets offer great benefits, it just depends on what is most important to you and your family. If you need a carpet that is extra-durable and less likely to show wear, nylon can be a great choice. If serious stain-resistance is a priority, one of the many polyester carpet options may be the best fit for your needs. Many polyester rugs are also made from recycled materials, making them an eco-friendly choice. Polyester can also be a more budget-friendly option, although there are many affordable nylon carpets, too. You can also find nylon that is eco-friendly and stain-resistant—it all depends on which products you choose. Our sales associates know quite a bit about our nylon and polyester carpet offerings and can steer you toward the best ones to fit your needs!

We get this question a lot, and the solution is to choose a type of carpet that won’t show every step. Some carpet fibers are more susceptible to footprints, while others, including low-pile and berber weaves, don’t show them at all. Our sales associates can show you exactly which carpets are best if you want to avoid footprints and vacuum marks.

Yes, we have a wide variety of stain-resistant carpets, including products that carry lifetime stain and soil resistance warranties. There are definitely carpets that are better suited for families with pets or active households, and our associates can show you the ones that best fit your needs. Our team can install any flooring product you choose from our showroom, whether it’s carpet, waterproof flooring or hardwoods. Once you select some product samples, we will send someone out so you can see them in your home and decide which ones you like best. Then, we will measure everything and prepare you a quote for the whole job, including flooring materials, prep and installation. We handle everything, so the whole process can be as stress-free as possible for you.
