This was our first visit to Sibley and I have a medically complex, female teenager - that means she isn't the easiest to deal with!! Even so, I can't speak highly enough of what an incredibly positive interaction we had with absolutely everyone involved in this appointment. From the phone call with the scheduler who booked my daughter's appointment all the way until we left the office with a note for school - EVERY. SINGLE. TEAM MEMBER was far above average. THANK YOU!!

Dr. Iannucci is the best doctor ever! My daughter absolutely loves him and he is good at what he does. He is very detailed and thorough. He and his staff at Sibley show that they really do care for their patients. Grateful for them!

Accommodated our immediate nec appt. Dr.McKane spent exactly enough time with my teenager to explain her diagnosis.

My one year old has a congenital heart defect and we have been to this office many times! It is always a wonderful experience. Dr. Iannucci and all the staff work hard to put my child at ease even though that is a very difficult job with a toddler. All of my (many) questions are always answered thoroughly and I never feel rushed. The quality of his care is fantastic- the cardiologist, surgeons and others work as a team to work out the best plan for him.

Your child's visit may require testing that includes an electrocardiogram (EKG) and an echocardiogram (ECHO). We try to include all tests on the day of the first visit to avoid your family from having to schedule an additional visit later for the testing and results. During the visit, the cardiologist will review the images, relay findings, and make a plan for your child's continued care.
Your child's visit may take 2-3 hours depending on testing and the need of the patient. This may include time in the waiting room to complete all needed tests and have a consultation.
The cost depends on the services required to diagnose or treat your child’s condition. There is an office visit cost, and you could have an EKG/ECHO cost. Your insurance will determine your costs. The remaining balance will be what your insurance allows (generally around $700.00 for a first-time visit). If you have a copay, coinsurance, and/or deductible, you will be responsible to pay for that portion of the bill first; your insurance company will pay their agreed upon portion of the bill. If your cardiologist determines your child requires additional testing the cost could be more than a regular office visit cost.
If you have insurance, please check with your insurance carrier, or contact our Estimates Team to help determine your out-of-pocket cost. You may request an estimate at the time you schedule an appointment, or you can call our office and ask to be connected to the estimates team. If you are self-pay (no insurance), contact our Financial Counseling Team by calling the phone number located in our profile and dialing Ext. 8008 prior to your child’s visit to obtain an estimate from us. Our team can assist you with a discounted price or guide you through the application for financial assistance.
