I used to go to this church. I was an alter boy as well. This was during the time Father Kevin and Father Allen were the Priest there. A lot of good memories. This church was what lead me to Islam. I was 13 and it didn't make sense to me why we consistently broke the First Commandment in every mass. I'd ask Father Kevin or Allen why we constantly broke the 1st commandment. He asked me what do you mean. I said, we worship everything in the church from St. Francis, Virgin Mary, Jesus, Holy Spirit, countless other Saints as well as bowing before the tabernacle and other man made idols that were displayed. God is THE all powerful being. He doesn't need you to pray through someone else in order to hear you. That is the COMPLETE opposite of what the First Commandment tells us to do. Because of that I began my search for the truth and I was lead to Islam at 13 years old (I'm now 40). May the All Mighty protect and rightly guide everyone in the church for the Devil is deceitful. Ameen
