Hands down some of the best, if not THE best kolaches I have ever had. I got the pan sausage and cheese and a spinach/tomato and both were delicious! I don’t normally like sausage but I’d definitely get that again!! They have a cute little gift shop, clean bathrooms and a large selection of snack and drinks. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area!

Among the top-ten-rated kolache bakeries in all of Texas, Hruska’s is a combination convenience store, gift shop, gas station, cafe and counter-service bakery. The light and buttery kolaches behind the counter inside the store tasted heavenly. Definitely worth a stop.

Pumpkin cinnamon rolls .. so simply delicious. Not overly sweet. It was good ol’ comfort food. Pricing was great! Had the egg cheese bacon biscuit while my German friend tried the sauerkraut + pan fried sausage kolache. Great amount of options available. Was satisfied in possibilities. Would totally try the cabbage one next time. Not a fan of sauerkraut.. he said it was alright. Cute local store. Definitely love the bbq place a block away.

Oh my God! The burgers are NO JOKE! Hruska's is not really out of the way. It's on Hwy 71 just minutes from IH 10. Going to Houston or San Antonio. Heading to Austin from either it's right there. It's a gift shop and good stop all in one. Order in the back, pay at the register, and listen for your name to be called. They have an amazing selection of Kolaches and bread. Everything made in house. The food menu is great. The burgers are too die for... and they are no joke. My wife ordered a single with cheese and bacon. I was hungry and ordered the double with cheese and bacon. The bacon is thick and crispy. Cheese is melt goodness. Buns are soft and flavorful. But the actual burger... seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper...and thick. The double was a mistake. This isn't your fast food patty. It was that home made thick and juicy. Get lots of napkins, find a seat, and enjoy the easy a burger should be, Thick Juicy Flavorful and just perfect!
