Use to support owner when he was selling cupcakes to local hair salons. Honestly the quality was far superior then. My husband purchased three cakes Pistachio: Good not so sweet my son loved it. The only cake we completed. Red velvet: dry, dense, frosting was not flavorful and cake was flavorless. Whose idea is it to put a white flower on top?It tasted bitter and adds nothing esthetically nor taste wise to cake. For real down home red velvet visit Lyods Bakery in Harlem. Carrot Cake: What happened this use to be my favorite flavor. Dry, mushy, you couldn't taste the carrot flavor, disliked the coconut addition and where are the raisins. If you want good flavor fill carrot cake go to Brooklyn Sweet Spot ( Myrtle Ave) Thank me later. In all disappointed and upset that 3 pieces of cakes cost close to 18.00 smh. I would no longer support this black owned business since it isn't giving what it was suppose to. Often as a business grows the quality of the product suffers. Unfortunately this holds true for J&J cakes. P.S. We ate pieces of cake because we purchased it and it cost alot of money. Don't confuse it with it being delicious nothing in our household goes to waste.

How is is that i could call them late in the morning and pick up a stunningly beautiful, EXTREMELY moist and delicious custom birthday cake ready for pick up s few hours later? 100% AWESOME experience, that will keep us coming back for sure!

I knew the owner since he was selling out of his suitcase with his vegan cupcakes on flatbush on nyr eve .. couple yrs he's a business owner.. I mean I can't comment enough how I Love a black owned business and I love to support black own businesses.. the owner is hands down the most welcoming, he will bribe you into buying all the minis but for good reason... they all taste so DAMN good. I've ordered so many occasional cakes I think I lost count . Since he's open , I've ordered yearly birthday cakes for my now 6 yr old daughter . You can choose anything off his menu and won't be disappointed. If you want to chitchat , no rush at all .. go in , enjoy the vibes , the chat / laughter and especially the cupcakes 🧁, icecream( vegan) , shakes , i mean just close your eyes and pick .. you won't be disappointed, if so you can tell him to his face .!!! 😉 enjoy
