Wide open space with updated playground area for children of all ages. Beautiful ampetheater area in the middle of the park for concerts and other events. Very nice picnic area surrounded by an umbrella of trees. Splash pad area for those really hot days. Still undergoing renovations for a tennis court area. The park is very safe.

If you're visiting the Tyler area with kids, a visit at this park is a must! Located in the historic Azalea district, this park offers plenty of space; perfect for kids to play on the playground, to rest under a tree and have a picnic, or run around the grass areas. The playgrounds/play structures are located between an upper and the lower level. The upper level contains a couple of spinning pieces of equipment, playground with slides for toddlers, swings, monkey bars, and benches and picnic tables. On the lower level there is a tall playground for older kids, a big spinning web type structure, and extra monkey bars. Upper and lower level are connected by slides and interesting rock formations. There is a restroom on site as well as a water fountain. The green part of this park is very spacious and well-kept. Enough space to play a ball or throw a frisbee. Beautiful, tall trees provide enough shade. A creek runs through the park giving it even more character. There is an outdoor theater as well where events take place. Another perk of this park is that it has a paved walking path.

Meeting my future daughter in law and her beautiful family. Park was clean and people were well behaved here. Grass and trees to walk around and see squirrels and birds. Playground equipment for children in working order.

It's a regular park, but you can bring dogs. Tyler also has 2 dog parks. Bossart Dog Park on Old Jacksonville Rd and Sunrise Dog Park.

Yes, there's a few but to play it safe you should take 1. Just in case it's crowded....
Sorry, no idea regarding that info. Contract Tyler Parks and recreation hopefully they will help.
They usually post anything that is happening around the park at the park. So usually you can just find a place set up and have your party.
Yes there are handicapped curbside parking spots on College Ave.
