What can you ask for such precautions in a mostly outdoor fruit store. The indoor signs say that you must have a mask and the indoor store doesn't have for the most part on a weekday too much of a crowd. Just know that holidays like this week and Saturday and Sundays the place is packed but outdoor shopping I'd say is pretty safe. Most of the people social distance themselves as a rule and the registers have a plastic curtain but unless you want them to disinfect the fruits and veggies you can't do much more. I see the cashier's clean the counters often and they are good about not handling the food to much and of course they wear masks. No they don't take temperature and they don't over police the customers. But I wouldn't want that anyway. Just remember to wash your fruits and veggies in a pot full of cold water and half a cup per gallon of white vinegar wet submerged for ten minutes. Nothing disinfects for less time than ten minutes. Remember that people handle the food here be safe.

I didn't try to buy watermelon this week because last time I bought a watermelon the taste wasn't sweet enough
