Horrible experience here. They wouldn’t let us sit inside (even with a reservation and plenty of availability indoors). After seating us outside in the cold, we waited 15 minutes before we finally decided to leave. Very lazy host and staff, didn’t pay attention. We were trying to celebrate an anniversary, and this place blew it on all accounts. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and we will be making it known.

My husband and I made a reservation for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The greeting was warm, the service, attentive at first. But when the food arrived, I was given a medium porterhouse instead of black and blue and sliced as I'd ordered. When informed of the error, there were lots of apologies, which was fine. But it took ages for my steak to arrive. I'd estimate about 15-20 minutes. By the time it did, my husband was nearly finished with his lamb (which was excellent), and my broccoli rabe side was cold. There was no offer to warm that up. By then, I'd about lost my appetite anyway. It put a damper on our evening. In fairness, they comped 1 glass of wine and our coffees. The steak was cooked perfectly the second time, and it was tasty, but the error and delay, and slow service following left a lot to be desired. Perhaps it was an off night, but it was our special occasion, so I'm a little salty

Awesome classic steakhouse in northern Hoboken. It looks and feels more like an old school bar/saloon, but it's a steakhouse through and through. Great atmosphere. The food is terrific, I had grilled octopus, and a Tomahawk that was cooked perfectly. Sides of mac & cheese and broccoli rabe were great. There are a ton of great steak spots in NYC, too many to name, but if you're in Jersey, don't overlook this spot.
