Awesome spot- intact, well maintained- great history and a creek flowing through it

Very nice state park with good facilities and good parking lot and trails. Not very in depth though. You can walk around the outsides and read plaques, but not much more than that. It would be great if you could go in some of the old buildings, and see the inner workings as they were. Guided tours/talks would improve the experience.

Bayhorse Ghost Town offers an interesting insight as to how the old mining towns were set up, the size, as well as the living conditions that were endured. It is a shame that so much of the town lay in pieces and could only be seen through pictures.
