One of my travel traditions is to visit a local game shop and pick up a set of custom dice. After spending a few minutes chatting with the rep at Twenty Sided Store, I find myself deeply regretting not visiting this store more often when I lived in New York. Not only was the inventory great - any tabletop shop that carries zines deserves a little extra love - but the conversation was fantastic and they walked away with one more mailing list subscriber, even though I live half-a-country away.

I wanted to visit a game store while in New York, and this store was super cool! They even stock official Critical Role items, which I've never seen before. Very happy with my Grog dice 😃

Helpful staff and a great selection of Indie RPGS. Lots of boardgames too. A great spot for any RPG hobby fan.

After a horrible experience with a poorly painted wedding Funko cake topper from Etsy, we felt hopeless regarding our situation. However, finding Lauren, through researching gaming hobby-shops, was the light at the end of a very depressing tunnel. She was very friendly and kind when we reached out regarding possibly having our wedding cake topper’s paint redone. She did an amazing job at fixing all of the horrible paint mistakes. My fiancé even ended up buying some lovely cat-themed board games from the store. I highly recommend checking out Twenty Sided Store if you’re into table-top gaming! Thank you a million times again, Lauren!

Looks like they take it seriously. Hand sanitizer is offered at the entrance, and store events are not being run.
Pre-covid, yes they were having weekly games. Adventure League, if I'm not mistaken. Join their discord they can answer all of your questions or point you in the right direction.
I believe if you check in with their website, you'll be able to see a list of events by date as well as areas to sign up for certain events. I know they do pre-release parties and I believe FNM as well!
Hey Jaydyon, they dont really sell video games. Board games and card games and related accessories and events.

They do sell booster boxes for Magic the Gathering. They have all the current sets in Standard rotation and even some older sets as well.
I haven't seen one they do have a large selection of games but I don't think I've seen that one
Yes you can go on their website and sign up for the available slots
They no longer have or buy singles.
Twenty Sided Store likely will have some form of booster packs and boxes in stock but its hard to honestly say what all they will have on display and even in the shadows of storage areas because Twenty Sided Store literally has that many purchasable products on display it's an amazing store to see regardless. As far as trades and singles they do not do anything of the sort. That wouldn't stop you from trading in house with random players and collectors because Twenty Sided doesnt prohibit the "trade" of collectables and cards. They DO NOT participate themselves, much less have any binders or collection of singles on demand etc. If you visit their website you can sign up to be on their own mailing list and you can select the current game and format you would like to receive updates, times, and locations of upcoming in store events. I know they make their own schedule for box openings, drafts and world premieres and new releases / expansions. Call and inquire w/ in for accurate times.
I'm sorry but Twenty Sided Store does not sell any singles and you'll be hard pressed if they would have anything that old in booster boxes and packs.
Check their website. They have events and releases for each TCG on a weekly and monthly schedule.
They used to..but I don't think they do anymore.
They do FNM regularly but other days mix other games in so you may want to call. Kings games has a pretty dedicated mtg thing going on. I always see people hanging out playing it there.
Theres a chess store across the street from a gaming store in Manhattan i go to. The gaming store is called the uncommons. I cant remember the chess stores name tho but it is across the street
They stock a small number of fantasy figures for RPGs. Staff is very helpful and friendly -- give them a call!
