Tamara Alexander was my provider for 8 years , when I started going to her , I had a lump on my shoulder that had been there awhile , I was told by outside providers they would measure it and keep a eye on it , it never happened . when I started my care with Tamara , she referred me to a specialist because she was concerned , and unfortunately it was cancer. Tamara followed up throughout my surgery at the James Cancer Hospital , while I was reluctant at first to have a nurse practitioner as my provider , through Tamara’s caring, professional , educational practices , I knew I made the right choice , any question I had about a test or my health , if she didn’t know the answer she referred me or found the answer herself , and I am so ever grateful that OSU had such a dedicated provider as Tamara on staff .As I start research for a new provider because Tamara is leaving us , I pray I can find a provider so dedicated to her patients, as Tamara was , THANK YOU TAMARA FOR 8 Years of excellent care
