I had a wonderful visit with this salon. The people there are very kind and compassionate. I had a situation with someone (outsider) cancelling my appointment without my permission - yet the salon still fit me in - and helped me get to the bottom of what happened. They made me feel wonderful on my special day, despite that snafu. Larryn is a very kind and good manager that helped remedy the situation. I can't remember the name of the young lady who did my hair but she did the most wonderful job and made me look beautiful for my special event. I can't thank the team enough for their great job and also kindness that day and I will definitely come back when I am in town again.

I came to Penzone to get my hair dyed and left with nothing having been done to my hair. My appointment was originally scheduled at 2:30pm, and I was not seen until 4:05pm. I understand things happen, but I wish I was notified as to not spend an hour and a half sitting in the salon. I would have been just fine arriving later. During this time waiting, my stylist did come over once to ask me what I wanted, looked at my hair, and assured me it would not be much longer. Yet, I waited another 45 minutes after this interaction. I want to acknowledge that I very much appreciate the woman working the front desk at this time for her kindness. She gave me a coffee and kept reassuring me I would be seen soon. When my stylist finally got me into the chair, she looked at my hair and gave me two options that were very drastic and different from the reference photos I showed. She also indicated that she had another appointment at 6pm, so she would only have had an hour and a half for my hair. I felt persuaded to leave the salon, as my stylist did not have nearly enough time to do anything to my hair. I understand reference photos can set unrealistic expectations, but I was offered no options that could realistically be completed in the time I was given. Overall, just saddened by the lack of communication as this is a beautiful salon with seemingly friendly staff members.

Haircut with Max was great. The front desk could've let me know in advance they were running 30 mins behind instead of letting me know when I walked in the door
