I have mixed feelings about Value City. I’m going to start off in address the good. I had to receive service on my brand new furniture and they sent Tom a Service Tech to assist and he was amazing and to be honest he made me feel a bit at ease with them because honestly I was almost ready to return everything back including their VC Credit Card I just opened with them. And I just recently worked with a Rep name Susan (I hope I’m spelling her name right) but she provided great customer service as well and definitely seem to know her job. Now, to talk about the service/assistance I received before the good, was not so pleasant. So I had two different deliveries the first was cool and the second was okay, however, my furniture was damaged. I called right after delivering guys left and spoke with a Rep that told me to take pictures and email them and someone will Contact to handle and not to mention I have protected on my furniture. However no one reached out to me for a while two weeks. I called them Back spoke to someone and was told that because I had my furniture in my home for more then 7 days they can not do anything. I mention that I have protected so that should not apply to me and even if so I called on the first day so they should have taken care of it then, she told me to hold, I listening to hold music for 15mins and then she hung up. I waited about 5mins to see if she will call back thinking the line just dropped, she never did.. I called back addressed my matter to someone else and mention how I got hung up on and she did the same, had me on hold for 15-20mins and then hung up.. I waited another 3mins to see if she would call back, she didn’t. I called her back and mention she did the same thing and her response was. “Oh my manager is working on it now, you will receive a confirmation call to confirm when a service tech will come out”. No apology or nothing,, again made me feel that I should not be a customer with them and me feel like that are worsted then Art Van before they closed down. Smh

Jerry was patient and answered any questions we had. He was helpful and informative. When we came back to order, Jerry had already left for the day and Zack stepped up to help us out. He answered our additional questions and helped to complete our order. Both were friendly and did not pressure. We will be back again.

We bought a sofa set and James was no nice to guide us about the choices and prices. He was very patient thru out our selection. Definitely coming back for him.
