I've heard about this place since I was a little girl. When I first tried it (in my late twenties) I understood what my parents raved about. The place is small and looks original but the hotdogs are the best. I took my husband there for the first time over the July 4th holiday. He is picky about... many things, but he agreed these were delicious hotdogs. He even ordered another after he ate two. We love Shorty's.

Hotdogs buns got soggy quick. and Chilli was plain hotdogs tasted like those cheap ones for the price if you've been open for 80 + years don't you think they'd get a little more stuff now

Just as I remembered, delicious. Cash only. No refills on drinks. A little more expensive than when I lived here but still a great meal in Wash Paw

We had a great experience at Shorty's. They seem like a staple of the Washington, PA downtown community. I love restaurants with a basic menu that they focus on doing really well. The staff was super fun and engaging, just like you would want a small diner to be. Highly recommend, even if you are just passing through like we were.
